FinOps Best Practices on ChatBot
We developed our FinOps best practices in 2018 which was prior to when AWS announced it as their fifth pillar of Cloud Management and before the founding of the FinOps Foundation in 2019. We have since incorporated these best practices into our consulting practices and have broken out the Cost Optimization portion into a Chatbot service.

Our story starts as Sniffer hired guns conducting network analysis to optimize performance and reliability for fortune 500 companies such as Fitch, Citigroup, Abko Records, JPMorgan Chase, Openheimer Funds and Seimens.
As Sniffer experts we developed the AutoBaseliner reporting tool for the Network General Sniffer which was purchased by the following companies:
Disney, Canadian Royal Mounted Police, Motorola, JPMorgan Chase, DEC, Estee Lauder and NASA. The AWSadvisor Chatbot is our latest product brought to market.
Our Founder; Mark Szynaka
Mark's spent five years at Goldman Sachs supporting Quantitative Analysis on Goldman's Fixed Income Trading floor. He then worked for General Electric for five years in Network Management before starting his own company in 1993. The company delivered Sniffer and Cisco training from their office on Park Avenue South in NYC for fifteen years. In 2011 Mark investigated all Cloud offerings and selected AWS. He became a certified AWS Cloud Architect in 2013 and was recognized as a Cloud Expert in a 2013 TechTarget article by Alex Barret, " The training of a Cloud Expert". Mark has presented at Cloud Expo, AWS ReInvent and many other professional expos. Since 2018 Mark has specialized in FinOps.
